The mission of the Friends of Athletic Fields (FAF) shall be to increase the quantity and quality of
athletic fields for all
users.
Friends
of Athletic Fields shall accomplish the stated mission through a
combination of outreach and education of field providers, users and other
interested stakeholders. Outreach efforts may include contact
with appropriate elected government officials or other government
employees and
appointees.
Where
and when necessary the Friends of Athletic Fields will share its expertise
and guidance on how to work together as users and communities to increase
and improve the quality of athletic fields. This portion of the
mission may be accomplished through seminars, op-ed articles, contact with
government and community leaders and through its literature and marketing
techniques.
Friends
of Athletic Fields shall openly share information with interested members
on all aspects of field planning, management, construction, renovation and
maintenance.
Friends
of Athletic Fields shall not discriminate on the basis of race, creed,
color, sex, national origin or religious
preference. Furthermore, Friends of Athletic Fields will seek
participation from all person with an interest or expertise or desire to
increase or improve the quantity and quality of athletic fields. |
